Christmas Newsletter

Greetings Yogi's,

As we head ever so closer to the end of year, it is a great time to stop and reflect on the year gone by.  For myself 2016 came with many challenges, a new business, a new direction, loss of my Father, Brother and Aunty all within months of each other, and a few other trials along the way.   I can't say it hasn't been a tough year, but I also understand, what doesn't kill us, only makes us stronger!  

That said as my own yoga practice evolves, I realize how it has helped me greatly in times of incredible stress and hardship.  The ability to accept what ever comes our way, to have the capacity to just 'breathe' through life's toughest moments is the key to sailing through the rough waters we sometimes find ourselves in.  'When you own your breath, nobody can steal your peace' :)

Jan 2017 marks the first anniversary since purchasing Alpine Yoga.   Throughout alll the challenges faced this year, Alpine Yoga has been a blessed one.  An opportunity I am glad I didn't pass up, one that has allowed me to grow further as a teacher, and the opportunity to meet some of the most amazing beautiful students/souls along the way.   Many thanks to many of you for your friendship, kindness and support over the past 12 months, couldn't have done it without you!

Christmas and New Year Timetable

I am scheduled to travel to Byron this Thursday 15th Dec for a short Teacher Training workshop, and will re open the studio on Weds 21st Dec.  I am happy to put on a class this Weds evening at 5.45pm to compensate for Thurs evening class,  (please let me know by Wed morning if you are interested).  Alpine Yoga will be open as usual over most of the festive season.

Finally, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Healthy Happy New Year!   If you are going away, stay safe on the roads and remember a few Sun Salutes each day will help maintain your yoga practice.   I look forward to seeing you soon.
