Alexis Arnold

I first found yoga looking for a movement practice that would give a stronger connection to my physical being and could be performed anywhere while traveling. I found that Yoga not only created a sense of space within my body, but gave me a deep sense of grounding in my heart, mind, and soul.

I have been practicing yoga for seven years and have recently completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training with Awakening Yoga Academy online in March of 2022. My favorite flow is a combination of strength and balance woven into a mindfully creative sequence to increase awareness and mobility. I have a deep passion for nature and wilderness which transpires into conserving the native plants and animals in the beautiful Snowy Mountains region in my day to day.

I continue to develop my personal practice with influences from Commune Yoga, Ashley Galvin, Jared McCann, and Jane Corben to develop a style that encourages an attention to breath for a better mind-body connection. I hope to share my passion for all things yoga and have people leave my classes feeling inspired, challenged, and rejuvenated with a love and kindness that spreads beyond the classroom into one’s everyday life.
